George Hovany has provided advice to high net worth clients, business owners, and executives for over 26 years.  Focused on offering his clients the wealth management solutions they seek, George joined Wayne Hummer Investments in November 2008 at Vernon Hills Bank and Trust.  His investment philosophy is to understand his clients’ desires, educate them on planning strategies, and make them aware of the available options for reaching their financial goals.  He believes trust, integrity, and service are the backbone of any professional relationship.  Although a thorough understanding of numerous investments products and strategies is essential, George achieves client success by addressing specific needs and concerns.


Prior to joining Wayne Hummer, George was responsible for the sales and marketing of brokerage services as a Vice President at Merrill Lynch, RBC Dain Rauscher, and Bank of America.


George grew up in Rogers Park, Chicago, Illinois.  He attended St. George High School and Loyola University at Lake Shore.  He has been married for 35 years to his wife, Patricia.  They have three grown children, who attended college at Northwestern University, University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, and University of Illinois Chicago.  He currently resides in Lincolnshire and is active in Mundelein's Rotary.
